Step on stage. Play at the Concert Hall.

A full-size grand, under the lights

Sit down at a life-size 3D concert grand on a real stage, with the hall answering underneath every note. Plug in a MIDI keyboard and it is detected instantly, or just play with your mouse and keyboard. Load any score from the library and perform it, or improvise with nobody listening.

Meet The Professor, your AI coach

Play any piece and get instant spoken feedback: accuracy for each hand, the measures that are slowing you down, and every chord under your fingers named in real time. He listens while you play, so you find out what went wrong on the bar it went wrong, not at the end.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

The short version of everything people ask before they sit down at the keys.

Is PianoMode really free?

Yes. Every score in the library, every article in the Journal, the games, the Concert Hall and the whole Virtual Piano Studio, recording and export included, are free forever. The first lesson of every level is free too. A membership adds the rest of the guided path: every other lesson, the graded mock exams, and the highest daily limits with The Professor.

Do I need a piano or a MIDI keyboard?

No. Everything works with your mouse, trackpad or touch screen. If you do plug in a MIDI keyboard, the sight-reading trainer, the games, the Concert Hall and the Studio all recognize it instantly.

How is the learning path structured?

Five levels, from Beginner to Expert, each split into short modules and bite-size lessons with interactive exercises and quizzes. The first lesson of every level is free, so you can feel the method before committing.

Can I download the sheet music?

Yes, free and with no account. Where a score page carries a PDF, it is print-ready and one click away, and the built-in player highlights every note in time so you can learn the piece straight from the screen.

What exactly is a Playbook?

A guided path built around one real goal, such as playing a song tonight or reading music in 30 days. It gathers the right scores, lessons, games and articles in the right order.
