In Module 1, you found notes by their POSITION on the keyboard (left of the 2 black keys = C). Now you learn to find notes by reading them on a STAFF, the 5-line system that musicians have used for over 500 years to write music down. By the end of this module, you will read simple melodies from sheet music, understand how long each note lasts (whole, half, quarter), and play your first pieces by reading notation instead of memorizing. This is the skill that opens the door to the entire world of written music.

Train the most important instrument you own, your ears. In 6 progressive lessons, you will learn to hear pitch direction, identify registers, match pitch by voice, distinguish steps from skips, echo melodic phrases, and recognize major vs. minor. These skills transform you from someone who "presses keys" into someone who truly HEARS music.

Music has two dimensions: PITCH (which note) and RHYTHM (how long). Module 2 introduced pitch reading and basic note values. This module deepens your rhythmic skills: eighth notes (faster than quarter notes), rests (silence as part of music), dotted notes (extending duration), time signatures beyond 4/4, and the metronome as your practice partner. By the end, you will count and play rhythms confidently, giving your music the pulse and energy that makes it come alive.

The moment you have been waiting for — playing with both hands. Learn left hand positions, simple accompaniment patterns, and hand coordination.

This is the BIGGEST leap in your beginner journey: playing both hands SIMULTANEOUSLY. Until now, your hands have worked independently, right hand melodies, left hand exercises, each on their own. Now they combine: right hand plays the melody while left hand provides accompaniment. This is what makes the piano unique among instruments, it can play melody AND harmony at the same time. By the end of this module, you will play complete pieces with both hands reading from the Grand Staff.

Until now you have played only white keys. The 5 black keys in each octave are not optional extras. They are half the language of music. This module introduces the black keys, explains sharps and flats, teaches half steps and whole steps, reveals the secret of enharmonic spelling, and gives you new marker notes to orient anywhere on the keyboard. By the end, you can read and play any note in any key.

Make music come alive with dynamics, articulation, and expression. Learn your first classical and pop pieces, build a practice routine, and prepare for your first mini recital.

The final module of the Beginner level brings everything together: longer pieces, dynamics (loud and soft), your first sharps and flats, complete arrangements combining ALL skills, and your first performance. By passing the Beginner Final Exam, you graduate to the Elementary level, where scales, chords, and real repertoire await. This module is your LAUNCH PAD into a lifelong piano journey.

Rhythm is the heartbeat of music, without it, notes are just disconnected sounds. In 6 progressive lessons, you will learn to feel the pulse, understand meter, count note values, use rests as musical silence, extend notes with dots and ties, and take a comprehensive rhythm dictation test. These skills transform you from someone who plays "the right notes at the wrong time" into someone who plays with rock-solid time.

Transform "pressing keys" into "making music." Dynamics (loud and soft), crescendo and decrescendo, legato and staccato, and musical phrasing, these are the tools that give music its emotion, its drama, its life. Without expression, even the most complex notes are just mechanical sounds. With expression, even the simplest melody can move a listener to tears.
