Your creations are NOT automatically saved!

If you reload the page or close the browser without exporting your work, it will be lost forever.

Always use the Export WAV or Export MIDI buttons to save your recordings before leaving!

BackTracking is a technique where you play along with a pre-recorded instrumental track (a "backtrack").

With PianoMode Studio, you can:

• Upload a backtrack from the internet and play along while recording yourself
• Create your own backtrack using our Drum Machine and Virtual Piano multi-track features
• Layer multiple tracks - Record drums first, then add piano, then vocals
• Export your mix as a professional WAV file

This is perfect for practice, jamming, or creating full compositions!

1. Open Recording Studio and expand the "Microphone Recording" section
2. Click "Allow Microphone" - your browser will ask for permission
3. Grant permission by clicking "Allow" in the browser popup
4. Click REC to start recording your voice
5. Click STOP when finished
6. Click "Send" to add the recording to the mix

Note: Microphone requires HTTPS and browser permission. If denied, check the lock icon in your browser's address bar.

• Enable Metronome before recording to stay in time
• Use Loop mode in the sequencer to practice sections
• Record drums first, then add piano on top for easier timing
• Use Send to Mix to bring all parts together in Recording Studio
• Connect a MIDI keyboard for the most realistic piano experience
• Export WAV to share your creations or import into other software
